I believe that photography has a magical way of evoking the past while capturing moments of quiet and playful tenderness. I create images that feel genuine, intimate, light, and warm. I devote my artistic energy to photos that celebrate and document life.
The session will be a fun positive experience; it will never be stressful or performative. I will guide you to create photographs that are authentic and creative. We will collaborate with you to create original images. We will pick a location that suits the vision you have for your photos (urban, natural, contemporary…) You will receive excellent customer service. I am easy to contact and will respond promptly. And in the end you will have fully retouched photographs that you love! I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I received my BA from Barnard College at Columbia University in New York City in 2010. I earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate at Maryland Institute College of Art in Studio Art in Baltimore, MD in 2011. I went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. I have experience teaching art (photography, design, and art history) to undergraduates, continuing education and elementary students. I love working with children, family, and couples to create photography that you will treasure for years to come. |
